Why We’re Different
At MountainView Weight Loss Center we’re committed to being there for you every step of your weight loss journey. From your very first consultation, we’ll work hard to make sure you understand all of your options, we’ll explain each step of the process to you, and help you connect with the resources you need to complete the required steps leading up to surgery. After surgery, we’ll continue to stay connected to make sure you get the support you need – through our monthly support group as well as through follow-up appointments.
In addition to supporting you before and after surgery, our weight loss program is also accredited by both the Joint Commission and the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. These accreditations means that MountainView meets and exceeds national standards for the care of bariatric patients. To achieve these designations, MountainView must submit to a rigorous review of our program, our staff, and our hospital to ensure that we are caring for our patients in accordance with national best practices.
Dedicated Bariatric Surgeon and Weight Loss Surgery Team
In our office, we want you to know our staff, and, more importantly, we want our staff to know you. Our team is made up of dedicated, compassionate professionals who are experienced in caring for bariatric patients. After your initial consult, you will work with our Wellness team to help you prepare for surgery. They’ll help you learn the lifestyle changes you need to make to help make your surgery a success. We want you to feel comfortable and educated with the decisions you make for your future, and we are committed to answering any questions that come up at any time throughout the process. Once you have completed your surgery, we’ll continue to support you and celebrate with you! We look forward to being a part of your new life!
When you call us for a consultation, we promise to give you our full attention and listen to your needs. We will take your insurance information and verify your insurance benefits within 24 to 48 hours if at all possible so you will know the approximate expense you may incur to assist you through your decision making process. If there are no benefits, we will assist you with financing options.
The MountainView Weight Loss Center holds free online and in-person seminars to educate you on multiple types of Bariatric Surgery procedures, including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass and lap band surgery. Together we will begin the process of deciding what procedure will work best for your health needs and lifestyle. Please check our calendar for upcoming seminar dates, times and locations. Reservations and registrations are recommended as space is limited.
