Brian Welch, D.O.
Brian Welch, D.O., is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in minimally-invasive laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Welch also specializes in GI surgery.
He earned his medical degree at Touro University California, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Welch completed his general surgery residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center before completing a fellowship in minimally-invasive surgery at New York Medical College. He has achieved certification in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Welch has completed various medical research and presentations. In 2021, Dr. Welch received the Resident Achievement Award for Outstanding MIS Resident from The Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons.

Kikina Wong, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Kikina Wong, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a bariatric nurse practitioner with years of experience treating patients in a clinical and urgent care setting. She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Roseman University of Health Sciences before achieving her Master of Science in nursing from Chamberlain University. In addition to English, Kikina is fluent in Chinese, Mandarin and Cantonese.
